She is highly renowned for her avant garde style particularly her 3-D experiments exploring the effects of materials and light interacting with hair as illustrated in Opaline. Johanna has been awarded the Creative Talent of the Year - Most Wanted Awards (2010 & 2015), International Creative Colour of the Year - Big Shot Awards (2015) and Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year - bHA Awards.
