Jessica Craig-Martin lives and works in New York City. As a photographer, she seeks caught moments at exclusive events all over the world. In her work, Craig-Martin delivers sharp observations of well-heeled society at play. Cropped and obliquely angled, Craig-Martin’s photographs rarely allow for the identification of her subject’s faces, thus subverting the concept of society page party pictures, and instead points towards the baubles, plumage and telling details which offer commentary on society’s obsession with surface.

Craig-Martin’s reportage and fashion stories are featured in Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, Self Service, New York Magazine, Paper, V Magazine, GQ, Another Magazine, i-D, Numero, The New Yorker, Kidswear, SleazeNation, Harper’s Bazaar, Purple Magazine, and Vogue, among others.
