Geray Mena is a London based visual artist who combines commercial practice and self-initiated projects.
Following his studies in Madrid, he moved to Paris developing his career for several years linking up with London, and later on, Amsterdam, where he studied Photography at Gerrit Rietveld Academie.
He started producing meticulously detailed staged images and films that examine the semiotics and seduction tools of contemporary image production navigating both, the art world and commercial.
His work includes shows, books, commercial campaigns, and editorials for clients such as Abra, AllaCarta, Buffalo Zine, Karl Lagerfeld, Nike, Roger Vivier, Slam-Jam, and Wallpaper* to name a few.
Since 2020 he has been enjoying the educational practice; teaching, giving lectures, and leading workshops at IED, ESD, and ÉCAL, the prestigious Lausanne's school of Arts.
