Furmaan Ahmed is a multi disciplinary artist from Glasgow who creates images, set designs and live installations. Furmaan imagines fantasy universes that reference ancient sites, nature and hybrid futurism to create landscapes and experiences that feel like glitches in reality. Furmaan is interested in world building through the lens of a brown and trans artist.

They are a Fine Art graduate from Central Saint Martins who has envisioned worlds with artists and clients such as Re-Edition, Dazed, Tate Modern, Willow Smith, Isamaya Ffrench, LOVERBOY, Sadler Wells, Hermes, Shygirl, SOPHIE and David Lachapelle.

In 2017 Furmaan was the recipient of the Robertsons Trust Scholarship and was awarded the British Fashion Council’s New Wave Creative award in 2021.
