Estelle Klawitter’s passion for photography started with her first camera, a birthday gift from her parents when she was eleven. In the age of 16 she was discovered by the French model agency Paris Planning and started to work as a model in front of the camera, before she switched 2000, after some years working as MakeUp Artist for international clients like Christian Dior and Vogue,to behind it. During this time she lived in Paris, Milan and Madrid. In 2010 she spent several months in China, working there in cooperation with the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. In 2006 her first movie Wortbrot based on her screenplay and directed by her was screened at the international film festival Berlinale.
