Christian Møller Andersen (b. 1993) is a creative director, designer, and photographer based in Copenhagen. Working within the realms of design and fashion, his unique understanding of visual culture has, over the years, become a valued resource for international clients and collaborators alike. In developing, producing, and executing original concepts and campaigns, his work polishes his clients and collaborators’ visual communication and strengthens their artistic output.
With a thoughtful and editorially-driven approach to design, Christian’s work can best be defined by an elegant and refined aesthetic that crosses artistic disciplines. From art direction and creative consulting to photography and graphic design, his clients and collaborators include international brands, cultural institutions, and individuals working within the broader field of design, fashion, and architecture. Working with a strong personal network of creative talent and agencies around the world, from Paris and London to New York and Tokyo, his ability to strategize, brief and commission the most suitable creative teams ultimately ensures that creative ideas always are realized at their most definitive.
After starting his career as a designer at Norm Architects in 2017, Christian was appointed Artistic Director of Kinfolk in 2018—a position he still holds today. At Kinfolk, he’s in charge of the creative direction of the printed magazine, while also producing editorial-based client projects for international brands such as Hermès, Issey Miyake, Bang and Olufsen, and Totokaelo to name a few. Over the years, he’s also helped art direct and produce several internationally acclaimed books, namely The Touch — Spaces Designed for the Senses (2019), Here for the Ride by Andre D. Wagner (2017) and The History of Colette Paris (2015).
In 2020, Christian founded his own design practice, which he operates from his studio in the heart of Copenhagen.
