American designer raised in San Francisco, California. Went to Parsons School of Design. In 2009, Wang won the Swarovski Award for Womenswear, won the CFDA awards for accessories in 2010 and 2011. In November 2012 at 28, he was named Balenciaga's Creative Director with his tenure lasting until July 2015.
