Afra Zamara is an Italian born, London based set designer. Growing up in Nigeria, Doha & Italy during her formative years, Afra was constantly surrounded by construction sites as her parents were architects, which led to an early fascination about how people interact with environments.

Upon completing a Photography Degree from London College of Communication, Afra began her career in set design which aligned her interests of photography with set and material construction.

Afra is known for her unique aesthetic principals which often involve de-constructing and re-purposing everyday objects, furniture and the work of emerging sculptors, painters and product designers into her sets.
