The Resort 2018 season has taken the fashion pack to the deserts of California at Dior<\/a> to the lush green forests of Kyoto for Louis Vuitton<\/a> and back again to the Big Apple for Valentino<\/a>. We took a quick look at some of the strongest beauty looks from the collections that make us yearn for far away destinations and warmer temps (Summer where art thou?)<\/p>\n

Chanel<\/a> took its model goddesses to the ancient ruins of antiquity and beauty pair Tom Pecheux<\/a> and Sam McKnight<\/a> matched the mood with cat eyes that would put Cleopatra to shame, lightly gilded lids and wavy, parted tresses adorned with headbands. <\/p>\n\n

\nDior<\/a> was inspired by the American Southwest and underneath the Stephen Jones<\/a> provided millinery, Peter Philips<\/a> Guido Palau<\/a> created a natural beauty look with sun-kissed skin and windswept hair.<\/p>\n\n

Gucci<\/a>‘s maximalist parade continued on with Yadim<\/a> and Paul Hanlon<\/a> creating a bevy of individualized, eccentric looks from pearlized visages to crowned heads with scarves, golden headbands, and chapeaus of every size.<\/p>\n\n

\nLouis Vuitton<\/a> took their show to Kyoto and the Miho Museum and the beauty mood matched the location perfectly with Pat McGrath<\/a> and Paul Hanlon<\/a> crafting wind-swept hair and some heavy liner inspired by Kabuki makeup and Japanese culture. <\/p>\n\n

\nPat McGrath<\/a> anad Guido Palau<\/a> respectively created a rose-red, softly line lip and girly plaits that were the perfect complement to Prada<\/a>‘s feminine resort showing in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. <\/p>\n\n
