What really sets Samuels apart, however, is his voice, a smooth R&amp;B croon that is displayed to full effect on his new EP <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/5EvLCFrAS6NZAOLfIVoN0v\" target=\"_blank\">Lost in Translation,<\/a> with six tracks that showcase the 17-year-old&#8217;s surprisingly mature sound.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/embed.spotify.com\/?uri=spotify:album:5EvLCFrAS6NZAOLfIVoN0v\" width=\"300\" height=\"380\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Samuels, who was discovered as a model in New York while visiting from his native Australia to meet with music labels, answered some of our questions about his major influences and how he developed his musical voice in an interview, shot by webcam in the style of his YouTube covers that first got him attention as a singer years ago.
