Both were models\u2014he was a photographer; she, a painter. They were East Village habitu\u00e9s, often seen wandering the streets of Alphabet City or sitting in Tompkins Square Park, recently transplanted to Tribeca. Tali Lennox and <a href='https:\/\/models.com\/models\/ian-jones'>Ian Jones<\/a> were, in many ways, a classic downtown duo, both of them beautiful, talented, creative, and, most importantly, caring. This past Saturday, they were doing what many Manhattanites do on summer weekends, kayaking along the Hudson River upstate, when they capsized and were quickly separated, pulled apart by the rushing current. Lennox was saved by a passing boat, but the search for Jones was called off yesterday <a href=\"http:\/\/www.people.com\/article\/ian-jones-dead-kayaking-accident-mom-tells-people\">when a body matching his description<\/a> was found in Poughkeepsie.<\/p>\n<p>Over more than a decade in the industry, Jones proved himself to be charming and impassioned, dedicated, and even after all his success, humble. At the age of thirty-two, he was more than a model and more than a photographer.
