More than any other program the CFDA’s Fashion Fund shines a light on the stars of tomorrow. Now entering its 11th year, the fashion fund has served as a peerless launchpad for young design talent and over the years they’ve introduced labels like\u00a0Proenza Schouler<\/a>, Public School<\/a>,\u00a0Altuzarra<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Alexander Wang<\/a>\u00a0to a wider audience. This year the top prize went to British-born accessories designer Paul Andrew, who honed his craft at brands like Alexander McQueen and Donna Karan before launching his eponymous label last year. Andrew’s quirky yet sexy wares have been popping up on well-heeled fashionistas since his collection hit stores and his win makes him a force to watch for the coming year. Superstar Joan Smalls<\/a><\/strong> accompanied Andrew to the show and looked phenomenal in one of his signature looks.<\/p>\n
