With each season,  he pushes the creative boundary just a bit more and legions of devotees love him for it. Spring finds the designer in a Morrocan mood as viewed through the sartorial lens of the mid-1970s. Rather than going for a literal interpretation of either theme, Kirkwood merges the two into an appealing and modern mix of cutouts, woven silk, elaborate jacquards and the return of the cork heel. Standouts included a delectable series of variations on the laser cut theme, each one more intricate than the last leading up to a stunning open toe bootie.
