MAC Cosmetics Taps Nicola Formichetti as Global Creative Director<\/strong>
\nMAC Cosmetics<\/a> has tapped Nicola Formichetti<\/a> for the role of Global Creative Director. Formichetti said, \u201cMAC is an iconic brand that has always championed the people and communities that move culture forward. Having previously collaborated with the brand on my Nicopanda collection and the MAC Viva Glam campaign, I\u2019m thrilled to return and bring my vision to this next chapter. The world is craving creativity, beauty and connection \u2014 and I can\u2019t wait to help bring that to life in a magical way.\u201d Before joining MAC, Formichetti contributed to Another Magazine, the U.S. edition of Harper\u2019s Bazaar, and served as Fashion Director at V Magazine. He is also known for styling Lady Gaga\u2019s infamous meat dress at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. Formichetti became Diesel’s Artistic Director in 2013, a role he held for four years.
