Hedi Slimane Exits Celine<\/strong>
\nAfter seven years, Hedi Slimane<\/a> is stepping down as creative director at Celine<\/a>. The house released a statement praising his leadership, noting, \u201cUnder his creative and artistic direction, Celine has experienced exceptional growth and established itself as an iconic French couture house.” Michael Rider, who previously served as the brand\u2019s design director of ready-to-wear from 2008 to 2018 under Phoebe Philo and then went on to lead as creative director of Polo Ralph Lauren, will succeed Slimane. His return marks a significant shift, as he steps back into a house that has evolved under Slimane\u2019s distinct vision. Slimane\u2019s departure comes just three days after unveiling his Spring 2025 women\u2019s collection <\/a> via a 10-minute film broadcast on Celine\u2019s website and social platforms.
