After a holiday trip home to Sicily, Puglisi was inspired by the churches there to take Italian marble and melt it into acidic, savory prints. The wallpaper-like treatment was applied throughout to the Cavalli signatures of lace-trimmed babydoll dresses, floor-length bias frocks, and, surprisingly, cocooning puffers like the ones sported in looks 2 and 31. Supple velvet was transformed to mimic marble with devor\u00e9 techniques and monochromatic pliss\u00e9 pleats created a minimal yet mesmerizing palette cleanser to the various prints. If all-black-everything is more of your alignment, there was plenty for your conservative fancy with Puglisi&#8217;s power suiting that conjured up stirrups pants for a more bodycon silhouette, double-breasted jackets, and a full-leather, midi skirt ensemble with thigh-bearing slit, rocked by <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/models\/kiki-willems\">Kiki Willems<\/a>. Puglisi gave the modern woman the right to choose how to expose herself with a collection that teetered between old codes and new eras. But don&#8217;t fret; the sex appeal was all there in glimmering minis and the midriff-exposed gowns like the one <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/models\/apolline-rocco-fohrer\">Apolline Rocco Fohrer<\/a> closed in.
