Moschino Taps Adrian Appiolaza<\/strong>
\nMoschino<\/a> has appointed Adrian Appiolaza<\/a> as its new creative director. He will oversee the women\u2019s, men\u2019s, and accessories collections, directly reporting to Massimo Ferretti, executive chairman of parent company Aeffe S.p.A. Appiolaza previously served as the women\u2019s ready-to-wear design director at Loewe<\/a>, collaborating with creative director Jonathan Anderson<\/a> for a decade. Prior to that, he held the same role at Chlo\u00e9 <\/a> under Clare Waight Keller<\/a>. His inaugural collection for Moschino<\/a> is set to debut during the upcoming women\u2019s fall season on Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. CET at Museo della Permanente, as part of Milan Fashion Week. Following the unexpected passing of the previous creative director, Davide Renne, last November, Ferretti expressed, \u201cAfter the recent events at Moschino, the arrival of Adrian felt like a ray of sunshine in a gloomy sky.\u201d Jeremy Scott<\/a>, who left the brand in March of the previous year, was succeeded by Renne. Renne, boasting decades of experience, commenced his role at the Milan-based brand on November 1. Tragically, his first collection was slated to debut for fall 2024 in February during Milan Fashion Week before his untimely passing. [WWD<\/a>]<\/p>\n
