Peter Do Is Collaborating With Banana Republic<\/strong>
\nNew York-based designer and Helmut Lang<\/a>‘s recently appointed creative director, Peter Do<\/a> is collaborating with Banana Republic<\/a>. This upcoming capsule collection is set to feature a range of genderless utility clothing, including structured outerwear, soft knitwear, and utility silk shirting \u2013 all featured in Do’s signature neutral color palette. Do said, \u201cI feel like the industry is going through sort of a collaboration exhaustion, and I didn\u2019t want to add any more to that conversation if I didn\u2019t have anything new to say. If we do this, I said, we have to do it in a way where we don\u2019t sacrifice any design integrity.\u201d The partnership with Do is set to significantly enhance the brand’s visibility within the luxury market. The collection is slated to launch online and in select Banana Republic stores this coming October, heralding a fresh chapter for the brand’s creative direction. [Vogue<\/a>]<\/p>\n
