Olivier Rousteing Is Jean Paul Gaultier\u2019s Next Guest Couture Designer <\/strong>
\nSince Jean Paul Gaultier<\/a>‘s retirement from the runway in 2020, the luxury house has been inviting guest designers to create couture collections. First starting off with Chitose Abe and Glenn Martens; next in line is Olivier Rousteing<\/a> of Balmain, who will present his collection next July in Paris. When describing Gaultier\u2019s influence, Rousteing said, \u201cI think he brought so much into the fashion world and the fashion industry, what I love about his aesthetic is all the incredible work on tailoring, on cuts, the craftsmanship, the savoir-faire, and the incredible glamour and sexiness he brought to the runway.\u201d [WWD<\/a>]<\/p>\n
