Dazed Magazine Has a New Team<\/strong>
\nDazed Magazine<\/a> announced new additions to it masthead this week as the magazine enters a new era under the direction of new editor-in-chief Ib Kamara<\/a> and executive editorial director, Lynette Nylander. The forthcoming May issue will feature the global perspectives of newly appointed fashion editor Imruh Asha<\/a>, bookings editor Mischa Notcutt<\/a>, senior contributing editors Patti Wilson<\/a> and Jacob K<\/a>, contributing editors Akeem Smith<\/a> and Raphael Hirsch<\/a>, and many others. In a statement released on Dazed’s site<\/a> Kamara seeks to use Dazed’s “rich history and a network built over 30 years to challenge and inspire, empowering youth through creative expression; encouraging imagination; exploration and rebellion, and platforming global points of views told from local perspectives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gucci To Showcase New Collection \u201cAria\u201d on April 15th <\/strong>
\nDrifting away from the traditional fashion week calendar, creative director Alessandro Michele<\/a> will be presenting the brand\u2019s newest collection Aria, through a short film on various digital platforms globally on April 15th. Coinciding with Gucci\u2019s new vision and centennial year, the name aria in music is defined as an operatic solo vocal piece. The designer announced last year that he has deserted \u201cthe worn-out ritual of seasonalities and shows to regain a new cadence, closer to my expressive call. We will meet just twice a year, to share the chapters of a new story.\u201d [WWD<\/a>]<\/p>\n
