Hood By Air Returns with Naomi Campbell<\/strong>
\nHood by Air<\/a> is back. On hiatus since 2017, the much-hyped label has re-emerged with a vengeance, releasing a campaign starring none other than the Mother of Models herself, Naomi Campbell<\/a>. Shot by Luis Alberto Rodriguez<\/a>, with heavy chiaroscuro, black and white images\u2014which reference the early 00s work of Inez & Vinoodh\u2014Naomi wears leather and nylon pieces from the brand\u2019s upcoming Prologue collection. Paris Fashion Week Is Underway<\/strong>
\nParis Fashion Week is here and it’s been a ride so far. Just ask Coperni<\/a> who had a drive-thru runway experience that brought to the roadway Adut Akech<\/a>, Mica Arga\u00f1araz<\/a>, Klara Kristin<\/a> and even stylist Helena Tejedor<\/a> joined the line-up. Courr\u00e8ges<\/a> also started a new era with newly-appointed artistic director Nicolas Di Felice<\/a> first show. The casting had a lot of debuts including opener Xulia Dorado<\/a>, Vic Ishimwe<\/a>, Elsie Ventura<\/a>, May Tager<\/a> and a few more names we have to get acquainted with. Gabriela Hearst<\/a> made her debut at Chlo\u00e9<\/a> too, presenting a girly, dress-heavy collection filled with hybrids on the backs of Ariel Nicholson<\/a>, Ash Foo<\/a>, Assa Baradji<\/a> and He Cong<\/a>. Back in Venice, Rick Owens<\/a> continues to show near his headquarters as one of the few, wisely restructuring due to the pandemic. If models in masks and no audience didn’t make you nod in approval, Owens took zero carbon footprint one step further as the show was across the street from his house. The space invaders came wrapped in Owens’ cocoon coats and sequined bodysuits with power shoulders dialed up to linebacker. <\/p>\n
