EIC Angelica Cheung to Leave Vogue China<\/strong>
\nAfter more than a decade and a half, editor-in-chief Angelica Cheung<\/a> will be leaving her position as Vogue China<\/a>. The founding editor’s last day will be December 8, which was the exact date she started at the Chinese Vogue outpost 16 years ago. No successor has been named but Anna Wintour, who oversees the global content direction, will work closely with the recently appointed head of Conde Nast China, Li Li, and Denise Suen, the current managing editor at Vogue China to ensure a smooth transition. On her transition WWD<\/a> reports Cheung’s official statement as, \u201cSaying goodbye is never easy, but it was also never my plan to stay this long…I could not have done it without my diligent and dedicated team. They have been a big part of my life and I will forever treasure our bond and friendship. Huge thanks to everyone who has helped and supported me over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n
