Gerald Marie’s Accusers Speak Out<\/strong>
\nAfter years of industry speculation and numerous news articles, alleged details of the predatory behavior of former model boss Gerald Marie are beginning to emerge. Marie, who is under investigation by the French authorities for sexual assault, rape and rape of a minor against four women\u2014three of whom are former models\u2014has been in the industry since the 1970s, at Paris Planning, Elite and Oui Management agencies. Linda Evangelista, who was married to Marie from 1987 until 1993, has spoken in support of his accusers, telling The Guardian \u201cBased on my own experiences, I believe these women are telling the truth. Hairstylist Jawara Virtually Opens \u201cCOARSE: The Edges of Black Ingenuity\u201d<\/strong>
\nPushing the boundaries of the digital experience, Jawara<\/a> breaks “ground” with his newly digitalized exhibition, COARSE: The Edges of Black Ingenuity. With images from frequent collaborators Tyler Mitchell<\/a>, Oliver Hadlee Pearch<\/a> Kristin-Lee Moolman<\/a>, Nadine Ijewere<\/a>, Kyle Weeks<\/a> and more the digital gallery space features his work through the years showcasing the artistic nature of Black and afro hairstyles. The virtual experience allows viewers to be able to navigate the exhibition space as if they’re walking thorough it in person. The innovative exhibit will be hosted on Art Partner.com<\/a> from Thursday, October 22nd through December.<\/p>\n
