Kenz\u014d Takada Passes Away<\/strong>
\nLegendary designer Kenz\u014d Takada<\/a> passed away this week due to complications from COVID19 at 81 years old. The eponymous founder of Kenzo which is currently owned by LVMH, the Japanese-French fashion designer started the label in 1970 and retired in 1999 to pursue other creative projects in art, costume, and furniture design. A New York Times review of one of his earliest fashion shows in 1973 hailed him as \u201cone of the most imaginative designers in the world\u201d. [REUTERS<\/a>]<\/p>\n
