Lunches for Clinicians NYC<\/strong>
\nFormer model agent\/fashion producer Logan Griesemer using his connections in the industry to raise enough funds to provide meals and coffee to a new group of clinicians every week, while simultaneously supporting New York’s local restaurant industry. NYC is an extension of Denver’s successful Lunches for Clinicians movement. So far the New York group has delivered over 300 meals to frontline workers. New York Creatives Organize “Pictures For Elmhurst”<\/strong>
\nA print sale which directly benefits Queens’ Elmhurst Hospital Center began today and runs until April 20th. Organized by Samantha Casolari<\/a>, Jody Rogac<\/a>, Vittoria Cerciello<\/a> and other creatives, the sale consists of limited 8.5″x11″ photographic prints<\/a> by artists like Mark Borthwick<\/a>, Tyler Mitchell<\/a>, Zora Sicher<\/a>, Drew Jarrett<\/a> and many others for $150 each. Influencers Go Hollywood<\/strong>
\nUtilizing talent with internet savvy and onscreen charisma has become increasingly important to clients due to the pandemic, so it should come as no surprise to learn that Hollywood is now pursuing social media stars. Citing the money-making potential of young self-broadcasters on digital platforms like YouTube and TikTok, major entertainment industry agencies are currently rushing to sign influencers. Forget auditions, showreels and casting calls: future A-Listers are now being discovered via videos of pranks and dance routines posted to social media. As Jad Dayeh of WME put it: \u201cThe next wave of talent, all future waves of talent, aren\u2019t going to come from traditional places.\u201d Fashion won’t be far behind in using this method of scouting–in fact, IMG has already begun scouring TikTok for new faces.
