Rick Owens and Brandon Maxwell Win Big at the CFDA awards<\/strong>
\nThis week started off on a ceremonial note as the 2019 CFDA<\/a> Awards celebrated America’s fashion leaders at the Brooklyn Museum. As Diane von Furstenberg officially handed over the torch to Tom Ford<\/a> as the Council\u2019s newest chairman, the award show\u2019s biggest winners were Rick Owens<\/a>, Brandon Maxwell<\/a>, and The Row<\/a>\u2019s Mary-Kate<\/a> and Ashley Olsen<\/a> for Menswear Designer of the Year, Womenswear Designer of the Year, and Accessory Designer of the Year respectively. American menswear bestowed Emily Adams Bode with Emerging Designer of the Year award for Bode while Jennifer Lopez<\/a> stunned in red Ralph Lauren while receiving the Fashion Icon award. <\/p>\n
