Her name has been a stalwart of the newsstands since her career began in the 90s and crescendoed during the height of supermodeldom. This is exactly the resume\u2013one decorated with twenty-years of achievements\u2013Paris\u2019 Mus\u00e9e Gr\u00e9vin was looking for when deciding who next to induct into their doors as a wax figure, joining the likes of <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/jean-paul-gaultier\">Jean Paul Gaultier<\/a>, <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/models\/Naomi-Campbell\">Naomi Campbell<\/a> and <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/models\/cara-delevingne\">Cara Delevingne<\/a>. \u201cThe genesis of the project started when the Museum Gr\u00e9vin asked my friend Krysle Lip\u00a0to redesign their most celebrated room, The Hall of Mirrors.\u00a0He introduced me to the museum and after a meeting they asked me to be included in their wax museum,\u201d said Lindvall of being immortalized in wax. Beyond the superficial, Angela wanted to dress herself in a meaningful way in order to make it an extension of her own ethos: supporting sustainability, conscious\u00a0consumerism and human consciousness. \u201cI&#8217;ve included my jewelry collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/article22.com\/\">Article 22<\/a>  made from\u00a0up-cycled melted war shrapnel from Laos.\u00a0The concept of transformative fashion\u2013taking up-cycled munitions with the intention to harm and transform it into jewelry that supports the local indigenous artisans from Laos\u2013is a perfect example of how fashion can allow consumers to participate in social change and conscious consumerism,\u201d she described in an interview over e-mail, continuing, \u201cI\u00a0also asked <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/bebe-moratti\">Bebe Moratti<\/a> of\u00a0 the fashion brand\u00a0<a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/redemption\">Redemption<\/a> to dress me. I\u00a0appreciate his rebel attitude in fashion, and that he gives 50%\u00a0of his profits to charity.\u00a0I believe that creatives in fashion have the ability to influence major change through\u00a0sustainability, and in the business practices of giving back with transparency. It allows consumers to have an impact with their buying power.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>After tonight, Angela\u2019s likeness will not only stand amongst other fashion icons but with their collection of some 450 other wax honorees.
