It&#8217;s an ambitious location if your clothes are going to compete with the palatial power of the room lined with World War II torn caryatids. But Versace didn&#8217;t send clothes down the runway, she did better: she sent <em>women<\/em>\u2013they just happened to be wearing her oopmh-charged collection that mixed signature Versace opulance for the blue-blooded, supersexy silouhettes and lots of tartan. It was intoxicating at times.
