\nTeen Vogue<\/a> names Mic.com\u2019s Samhita Mukhopadhyay executive editor following the naming of Phillip Picardi as chief content officer amongst Cond\u00e9 Nast switch ups. Mukhopadhyay brings with her a bevy of experiences in line with Teen Vogue\u2019s socially savvy readers\u2013including a former executive editor of Feminisiting.com, coediting \u201cNasty Women: Feminism, Resistance and Revolution in Trump\u2019s America,\u201d and penned \u201cOutdated: Why Dating is Ruining Your Love Life,\u201d in addition to her progressive reportage as senior editorial director of culture and identities at Mic.com. Kate Upton Unveils Further Details of Abuse from Guess Co-Founder <\/strong>
\nModel Kate Upton<\/a> has continued<\/a> to unfurl allegations against Guess<\/a> co-founder and former CEO, Paul Marciano with a shockingly detailed Time account<\/a> that describes assault and harassment during her first professional modeling campaign when she was 18. She claims after shooting the Guess Lingerie<\/a> campaign, Marciano summoned her and upon meeting her for the first time fondled her breasts and said \u201cI\u2019m making sure they\u2019re real.\u201d She goes on to say, “Despite doing everything I could physically do to avoid his touch throughout the meeting, he continued to touch me in a very dominating and aggressive way, grabbing my thighs, my arms to pull me closer, my shoulders to pull me closer, my neck, my breasts, and smelling me….I had two options: do everything I could to wiggle away and avoid his pursuit, or punch the CEO of Guess. So I decided to just wiggle away.” <\/p>\n

She continues to describe the continued aggression from Marciano leading up to her final shoot with the brand where he allegedly said the model was \u201cdisgusting\u201d, unprofessional and partying every night. “I was then told to leave because Paul had said, ‘Get that fat pig off my set.'” In a statement to TIME, Marciano called Upton\u2019s accusations \u201cabsolutely false\u201d and \u201cpreposterous.\u201d \u201cI have never been alone with Kate Upton,\u201d he said. \u201cI have never touched her inappropriately. Nor would I ever refer to a Guess model in such a derogatory manner.\u201d Marciano has been accused of sexual assault in 2016 by model Angie Christina<\/a> and in 2009 model Lindsey Ring<\/a> filed a lawsuit that was settled out of court. <\/p>\n
