From Barack Obama being the first president to publicly say the word \u201ctransgender\u201d in his State of the Union address January, to <a href='https:\/\/models.com\/people\/caitlyn-jenner'>Caitlyn Jenner<\/a>&#8216;s big reveal on the cover of Vanity Fair, visibility and acceptance was on the forefront. <a href='https:\/\/models.com\/models\/andrej-pejic'>Andreja Pejic<\/a> relaunched her career after gender reassignment surgery and appeared on the runway of Giles\u2019s Fall 2015 show then landed a cosmetic campaign for beauty line Make Up For Ever. Ever since <a href='https:\/\/models.com\/models\/hari-nef'>Hari Nef<\/a> became the first transgender woman signed with IMG, she&#8217;s gone on to walk the runways for Hood By Air and Adam Selman, appeared in Vogue, shot a campaign for &#038; Other Stories, and landed a role for the successful hit Transparent.
