\nAlessandra Ambrosio<\/a><\/small> <\/p>\n

We’re used to the Victoria’s Secret<\/a> angels appearing on our TV screens every year as part of the annual VS Fashion show, but this year the brand debuts a new concept, The VS Swim Special<\/a>. The idea of jetting off to the sun-kissed beaches of Puerto Rico with the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio<\/a><\/strong> and Elsa Hosk<\/a><\/strong> is of course tempting, but we wanted the real scoop from the angels themselves. We caught up with superstars Alessandra and Elsa to find out more about the TV special and their favorite moments from filming. <\/p>\n

What was the best part of the Swim Special experience? <\/strong><\/p>\n

ALESSANDRA:<\/strong> We had such a great time, we were shooting in Puerto Rico for a few days and I was with the other angels having fun. We\u2019re so blessed to go to this beautiful piece of paradise. We went on boats and go to see these different little islands and sandbanks, all these places that no one really gets to go to in order to get that perfect shot. <\/p>\n

It was great to explore Puerto Rico and its culture. We had all these water shoots and exclusive performances by Maroon 5 and Juanes! <\/p>\n

Sounds like there will be plenty to see, what part was the most fun for you? <\/strong><\/p>\n

ALESSANDRA:<\/strong> My favorite moment was when the girls and I got together to play volleyball. It gets pretty funny we\u2019re all very competitive, but we had a blast. It was on and off raining every five minutes, so we had to stop the game because we couldn\u2019t get all the makeup and hair wet but it was fun. <\/p>\n

You’ve been with VS for more than ten years, what do you love about the job? <\/strong><\/p>\n

ALESSANDRA:<\/strong> I think the best thing is going on all these swim trips. We get to hang out as girls and become family and friends. We just have a great time and are treated really well. Getting to see such incredible places with friends is always wonderful and in the end we just have a good time hanging out and going to dinner. <\/p>\n

Elsa Hosk<\/a><\/small> <\/p>\n

What was the best part of the experience for you? <\/strong><\/p>\n

ELSA: <\/strong>Getting to see Puerto Rico. Doing the swim special was new for us too, we had to get used to having a film crew with us the whole time capturing all those behind the scenes moments. It worked out so wonderfully though, and they were able to get all these moments where we\u2019re just having a great time exploring the island and taking in all the beauty. <\/p>\n

What should we look out for on the show
\n<\/strong>
\nELSA: <\/strong>Well I\u2019m excited to see Maroon 5 performing, but my personal favorite moment had to be shooting in this cave with Russell James. We do whatever it takes to get an amazing shot and that shoot was one of the most incredible I\u2019ve ever done. <\/p>\n

What\u2019s it like working with Russell? <\/strong><\/p>\n

ELSA: <\/strong>He\u2019s just amazing, he\u2019s always going out of his way to make you smile and make things fun. He\u2019s such a prankster, I remember he put a crab in my hand during this shoot – just placed it there and I didn\u2019t even realize what it was until it started moving! Russell is so warm and friendly too, he\u2019s just one of the sweetest people you\u2019ll ever meet and he makes us girls look good. As a model you\u2019re always going to love someone who can make you look your best! <\/p>\n
