While Helena Christensen<\/strong>‘s name immediately conjures images of her legendary career as a model,\u00c2\u00a0 Christensen is also a force within the world of photography. With her fashion work appearing in Vogue and her personal work showcased in galleries all over the world Christensen has become a respected photographer in her own right.<\/p>\n

Last night’s exhibition of Christensen’s photography at the Dactyl Foundation<\/strong><\/a> was a veritable who’s who mix of art and fashion. Luminaries from both worlds showed up to support Christensen – among them Jeff Koons<\/strong>, Michael Stipe<\/strong>, John Currin<\/strong>, Behati Prinsloo<\/a> and Jamie Strachan<\/a>.
