For the past few decades American fashion has been ruled by titans like Ralph Lauren and Oscar De La Renta, whose enviable careers serve as the inspiration for a new generation of artists like Jason Wu, Bibhu Mohapatra and of course Monique Lhuillier. For her inspired fall collection, Lhuillier explored elegance with a hint of sensuality; each outfit was sexy, but never in a way that was overt.
