The 2026 LVMH Prize Finalists Are Here<\/strong>
\nNine designers are now in the running for one of fashion\u2019s most coveted prizes. The LVMH Prize announced its 2026 finalists today, a global shortlist spanning Belgium, Sweden, France, the U.K., Spain, Georgia, China, the U.S., and, for the first time, Kenya. Among them: Julie Kegels<\/a>, Petra Fagerstr\u00f6m<\/a>, Gabriel Figueiredo of De Pino<\/a>, Harry Pontefract<\/a> of Ponte<\/a>, Daniel del Valle of The Vxlley,<\/a> Galib Gassanoff of Institution<\/a>, Zane Li of Lii<\/a>, Colleen Allen<\/a>, and Anil Padia of Yoshita 1967<\/a>. Several have honed their craft within major houses before launching their own labels: Figueiredo freelances for Dior<\/a>, Pontefract is part of Glenn Martens’<\/a> Maison Margiela<\/a> artisanal team, Kegels trained at Ala\u00efa<\/a>, and Allen previously worked at The Row<\/a> and Calvin Klein<\/a>. The final will take place on September 4 at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, where a revamped 17-member jury will award a \u20ac400,000 endowment. New additions include Celine\u2019s <\/a> Michael Rider,<\/a> Loewe\u2019s<\/a> Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez<\/a>, and Pucci\u2019s<\/a> Camille Miceli,<\/a> with Maria Grazia Chiuri<\/a> returning in her role as chief creative officer of Fendi<\/a>.[WWD<\/a>]<\/p>\n
