\nA week after news broke that Pieter Mulier<\/a> would be leaving Ala\u00efa,<\/a> it was announced yesterday that he is set to join Versace,<\/a> succeeding Dario Vitale.<\/a> Mulier will begin his role on July 1 and report to Versace executive chairman Lorenzo Bertelli. His final show for Ala\u00efa will take place during the upcoming Paris Fashion Week season, while Versace, which was recently acquired by the Prada Group, is notably absent from the upcoming Milan Fashion Week calendar. Bertelli said, Mulier was \u201cidentified as the right person for the role of designer of the brand.
