Meryll Rogge Succeeds Francesco Risso as Marni’s New Creative Director<\/strong>
\nFresh off her win at the ANDAM Prize<\/a>, Meryll Rogge<\/a> has been named the new creative director of Marni,<\/a> marking a breakthrough as the only female creative lead across OTB Group\u2019s brands. The announcement comes just weeks after Francesco Risso\u2019s<\/a> departure from the Italian house. Only The Brave (OTB), Marni\u2019s parent company, confirmed the appointment on Tuesday. Rogge said, \u201cI\u2019m truly honored to join Marni\u2014a house I\u2019ve long admired for its independent spirit. To take on a role defined by such visionary creative directors is both humbling and inspiring. I\u2019m deeply grateful to [OTB founder and chairman Renzo Rosso] and [CEO Stefano Rosso] for recognizing the resonance between our worlds and for entrusting me with this extraordinary opportunity. I look forward to helping shape what comes next for Marni.\u201d A graduate of Antwerp\u2019s fashion program, Rogge spent seven years at Marc Jacobs before returning to Europe as head of womenswear at Dries Van Noten. She was a finalist for the LVMH Prize in 2022, the Woolmark Prize in 2025, and recently became the first woman to be named Designer of the Year at the 2024 Belgian Fashion Awards. Rogge\u2019s appointment comes as OTB expands its creative leadership, with Simone Bellotti<\/a> at Jil Sander<\/a> and Glenn Martens<\/a> helming both Maison Margiela<\/a> and Diesel<\/a>.
