Risso joined the Italian house at a pivotal moment for its parent company, OTB Group. Though he stepped into the role without prior experience as a creative director, he quickly steered Marni into a new era of cultural relevance and creative success. Renzo Rosso, chair of OTB Group, who promoted Risso to the top job at Marni, said: \u201cFrancesco has embraced the spirit and the values of the house, and together with the team brought them to new grounds, building the foundations for a new and exciting chapter of Marni. Francesco is a unique designer and an artist at heart, and I wish him only the best for the future.\u201d Before his time at Marni, Risso spent eight years working alongside <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/miuccia-prada\">Miuccia Prada<\/a> at <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/prada\">Prada<\/a>, after early stints with <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/alessandro-dellacqua\">Alessandro Dell&#8217;Acqua<\/a> in Milan and <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/anna-molinari\">Anna Molinari<\/a> at <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/blumarine\">Blumarine<\/a>. On June 28th, his work will be featured at the Marta Ortega P\u00e9rez Foundation in A Coru\u00f1a, Spain. The exhibition, titled David Bailey\u2019s Changing Fashion, highlights the now 87-year-old photographer\u2019s role in capturing the cultural and creative revolutions of 1960s and \u201970s London. It includes more than 140 photographs from those formative decades, with several images being shown publicly for the first time.
