Back to back shows across the world, designer departures, and a full reset imminent with the forthcoming creative director, has created an energy of anticipation that the brand is no stranger to. In a rare showing and what could be consider the right timing, the complete vision of 80 years of <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/dior\">Dior&#8217;s<\/a> creative lineage has been captured in one landmark exhibition, UBS House of Craft x Dior. Curated by fashion stylist and editor, <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/carine-roitfeld\">Carine Roitfeld<\/a> and photographed by longtime Dior collaborator <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/brigitte-niedermair\">Brigitte Niedermair<\/a>, the show reframes archival haute couture through an editorial lens, uniting the aesthetics of Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferr\u00e9, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chiuri, with a tribute to Kim Jones. From the radical silhouettes of the 2000s to Dior\u2019s foundational tailoring, Roitfeld and Niedermair present a contemporary take on legacy dressing that takes you through a visual exploration of the French pillar. \u201cWe tried to make it of today\u2014that was the idea,\u201d Roitfeld explained while sitting down with Models.com. \u201cA latex Galliano skirt with a Monsieur Dior jacket&#8230;it would be impossible before to mix, because the egos of the designer. As a wealth management leader dedicated to nurturing craftsmanship across disciplines, UBS underscores the parallels between artistic mastery and enduring value. In an exclusive preview moderated by SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film\u2019s Executive Director Alex Delotch Davis, the tone was set for an immersive weekend of planning, following with three days of panels featuring fashion\u2019s key voices\u2014among them Roitfeld, Niedermair, <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/derek-blasberg\">Derek Blasberg<\/a>, Dior\u2019s Olivier Bialobos and Horst Sch\u00fcler, alongside <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/julia-von-boehm\">Julia von Boehm<\/a>, <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/people\/june-ambrose\">June Ambrose<\/a>, and designer <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/danielle-frankel\">Danielle Frankel<\/a>. Highlights include \u201cFrom Curation to Creation\u201d with Roitfeld and Niedermair, \u201cThe Craft of Couture\u201d with Dior\u2019s atelier, and \u201cCouture as a Collectible\u201d with Sotheby\u2019s and vintage experts.
