\nAfter nearly a decade shaping Jil Sander’s<\/a> modern identity, husband and wife duo Lucie and Luke Meier<\/a> are stepping away from the brand. The news came immediately following their F\/W 25 show <\/a> in Milan, marking the end of an era defined by their meticulous craftsmanship and commitment to Jil Sander\u2019s minimalist DNA. The Meiers first met in Florence while studying at Polimoda. Luke became design director at Supreme before founding OAMC, while Lucie worked at Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga before stepping in as interim creative director at Dior following Raf Simons’ departure. When they took the helm at Jil Sander in 2017, they ushered in a new chapter\u2014one that honored the house\u2019s sharp tailoring and precision. Throughout their tenure, they emphasized craftsmanship at the highest level, working closely with artisans and makers to elevate Jil Sander\u2019s collections. Under their direction, the brand not only maintained its status but also experienced significant commercial growth, expanding its global footprint with 18 new store openings worldwide. Reflecting on their departure, Lucie shared a message on Instagram<\/a> saying,”Luke and I are touched to have presented our last collection for Jil Sander after 8 years with the house. We want to thank everyone that has been involved and contributed their skill, creativity, and energy.
