NYFW Returns<\/strong>
\nA year and a half later, the shows are back, and so are the crowds, let the games begin! NYFW kicked off with Collina Strada<\/a>\u2019s spring 2022 show, the collection focusing on a mix between natural elements and the world around her. Proenza Schouler<\/a>, Peter Do<\/a>, and Prabal Gurung<\/a> followed the next day, Proenza Schouler\u2019s collection focused on life, post-pandemic, ease, and joy and a reworked version of the classic black suit. Peter Do\u2019s first-ever runway show was one to watch out for. Set in Greenpoint with a view of the Manhattan skyline, the collection featured elements of practicality and incorporating traditional Vietnamese attire. Prabal Gurung\u2019s collection was an ode to his Asian-American heritage, combining majestic silhouettes with the ease of sportswear. Last night, LaQuan Smith<\/a> had a concrete jungle moment by presenting at New York\u2019s legendary Empire State Building. The collection was filled with sexy mesh bodysuits and cut-out dresses, for the ultra-confident woman. Today brings a new day of shows, with NYFW officially ending this Sunday.
