Pyer Moss Set To Debut During Haute Couture <\/strong>
\nPyer Moss <\/a>makes history as the first Black American designer to ever showcase a collection during Paris Haute Couture Week for the Autumn 21\u2019 edition held from July 5th-8th. The Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture isn\u2019t known for adding new designers to their roster, so this new addition is certainly one to watch out for. Designer Kerby Jean-Raymond<\/a> will also be debuting his RTW collection at NYFW this fall and will release more information about his impending couture collection in July. [Harpers Bazaar<\/a>]

IMG Plans To Revitalize NYFW With Fashion Alliance<\/strong>
\nThis past Wednesday, worldwide agency IMG<\/a> announced their initiative to revive NYFW with the Fashion Alliance. The President of IMG, Leslie Russo, said they created the alliance, \u201cformed with a simple, like-minded objective: to create a bedrock of designers committed to New York Fashion Week’s revitalization and celebrate the resilience of New York’s fashion and retail industry as we emerge post-pandemic.” Before the pandemic, talk of \u201cNYFW Is Dead\u201d had already started as many designers began to only showcase internationally. Another reason for IMG choosing to create this initiative is to refute this debate and create a support system so that American designers can remain local. [Fashionista<\/a>]<\/p>\n
