Former Head of Elite Accused of Rape<\/strong>
\nG\u00e9rald Marie, former president of the European arm of Elite Models for 25 years and ex-husband of Linda Evangelista was accused of raping former models, Carr\u00e9 Otis<\/a> and Jill Dodd, who were then aged 17 and 20 years old respectively. The current chairman of the modeling agency, Oui Management has been accused of sexual assault in the past by journalist Lisa Brinkworth in 1998. Marie denies the allegations.

Kiko Milano Reportedly Requests ‘No Ethnics’ for Casting<\/strong>
\nNylon Magazine<\/a> obtained a casting request sent out on behalf of Italian makeup brand Kiko Milano requesting “caucasic, Mediterranean” models with “no diastema (gap teeth)” and \u201cno ethnics\u201d highlighted in bold. The casting, listed to be shot by Alvaro Beamud Cortes, was requested by an unnamed producer with the email in question quoted, “Hi guys, please let me know who you want to propose for this. The models must NOT be placed in Milan. Only younger than 25 years old. No ethnic models.”<\/p>\n

In an email response shared with NYLON, Kiko Milano gave the following statement: “At KIKO we are categorically against any form of racism and discrimination, and we have taken your article and the claims very seriously. After a thorough investigation on this today, we can state that at no point did KIKO request for a \u201cno-ethnic\u201d model. We have done an exhaustive internal review of all our communications to verify this. We did request to the producer for a Mediterranean and a universal beauty, this part is correct.”

New Faces and Old Money at Cond\u00e9<\/strong>
\nCond\u00e9 Nast has announced that Yashica Olden will be their global chief diversity and inclusion officer. The role, which was created this year, is responsible for diversity and inclusion policies implemented across the company. Cond\u00e9 has also announced that they will be reversing the pay cuts they implemented five months ago for employees making more than 100k per annum–this includes Anna Wintour<\/a>, who took a 20% pay decrease. Saint Laurent and Helmut Lang Collaborate on Art Installation<\/strong>
\nRolled out this week during the revving up of Paris Fashion Week, Anthony Vaccarello<\/a> dropped news that Saint Laurent<\/a> would surprisingly be collaborating with retired designer Helmut Lang<\/a> on an unexpected art installation. Unveiled at Saint Laurent’s Paris flagship, the work is made up of shredded defected pieces mixed with resin to form formidable columns.
