After a year plus of pushing the Thierry Mugler<\/a> archive, Casey Cadwallader<\/a> continued to modernize Mugler<\/a> canon with his heavily-sculpting collection for the new Spring 2020 season. Yes, the exaggerated shoulders, body-con silhouette, molded midriffs, and re-introduction of menswear were the sartorial takeaways but the casting, led by Julia Lange<\/a>, was the most noteworthy moment of pause. Opened by Bella Hadid<\/a>, many newly adopted veterans to the Mugler lexicon also walked like Karen Elson<\/a> and Hanne Gaby Odiele<\/a> joining muses Debra Shaw<\/a>, Niko Riam<\/a>, and Nina Marker<\/a> for a collection that was exceptionally inclusive of shades, sizes, ages and gender identity – a rare but welcome showing in the city of lights.<\/p>\n
