Sonia Rykiel to Liquidate<\/strong>
\nWith the departure of Julie de Libran earlier this year and after a four-month period of negotiations, Parisian heritage brand Sonia Rykiel<\/a> failed to secure a new buyer and is now forced to liquidate all assets and close all six stores across France and Monaco. The announcement is another crushing blow to the retail market that is currently facing turbulent times with rising rent costs, dwindling revenue, and an oversaturated market vying for the attention and currency of consumers, already stretched too thin.
