She was discovered in Bordeaux, where she was studying at the time. A friend recommended that a model agent, Olivier Lafronti\u00e8re, take a closer look at the sulky tattooed brunette. \u201cAnd here we are,&#8221; she adds. These past couple of days her 90s grunge realness has been striking chords with decidedly cool designers like <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/sies-marjan\">Sies Marjan<\/a>, <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/telfar\">Telfar<\/a> and <a href=\"\/\/models.com\/client\/zero--maria-cornejo\">Zero + Maria Cornejo<\/a> whose runways&#8217; she appeared during her first New York show season. <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not all\u2013when we met Orgeas during our <a href=\"https:\/\/models.com\/mdx\/confirmed-s-s-19-nyfw\/\">Confirmed<\/a> go-sees series, she was packed to jet to Los Angeles in the middle of castings to shoot a campaign (which we can\u2019t mention here), and then fly back to New York. \u201cThat was very cool!\u201d she writes to us from Canal Street, drinking coffee and listening to \u201cCountry Girl\u201d by Boy Harsher. Ga\u00efa, who could be straight out of The Face, describes her style as \u201ceasy, grunge, boyish, strong,\u201d mentioning her staples like &#8220;denim, suits, white tanks, leather jackets and black clothes,&#8221; but the most important making of a good outfit she adds: \u201cI am always trying to be myself\u201d. She can\u2019t help but list some of her favorite brands, footnotes included: Vivienne Westwood for the \u201cpunk&#8217;itude\u201d, Alexander McQueen and Martin Maison Margiela \u201cfor me are the ones who wakes up my curiosity\u201d, Y-3 \u201cis about strictness and disintegration\u201d, Gucci represent \u201cmy colorful thoughts\u201d, she continues on like this\u2013Yves Saint Laurent, Wang, Iris Van Harpen and more. Clearly fashion isn\u2019t a cursory part of her program. <\/p>\n<p>As NYFW wraps and she heads to the other cities, we ask Ga\u00efa, whose Instagram handle is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/cheezylove\/?hl=en\">@Cheezylove<\/a>, if there are any particular methods she applies to castings. \u201cI am always positive, fact is, everyone deserves a place. I give the best out of me. But I know, since the first beginning I will not be typical a show girl,\u201d she says prudently. Though, the latter is a sentiment which may change. She\u2019s already done some shows in Europe, like Acne, and has four covers to her name like Another Magazine and Numero Homme Berlin\u2013but Ga\u00efa has been operating somewhat under the radar.
