Sometimes, for veterans, it&#8217;s just another day on the job. It&#8217;s the literal legwork, nevermind the castings, fittings, crack of dawn call times, muddy politics and a bone-tired showing-of-face at designer parties. At times, saying yes to scores of shows is painstaking, soul-crushing even, but for many models, another booking is not guaranteed\u2013not even close. Showing up entertains the supposition that money may soon be in your pocket. It&#8217;s no wonder then the mention of the runway carries with it both a deeprooted sense of pride and frustration. While it&#8217;s not the only metric that defines their careers, it takes Odysseusian-levels of resolve to put in runway miles like these models have.
