I mean, girls ran around in dresses made of PVC (which looks great, but is stiff and horribly sticky).  The miniskirt was invented \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and became a world phenomenon that has never quite died down.  And there was no such thing as mass-produced fashion.  No Topshops, no H&amp;Ms.  <strong>Vicki Woods<\/strong> of the <strong>Telegraph<\/strong> gives us a lovely <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/fashion\/main.jhtml?xml=\/fashion\/2006\/05\/21\/stsixties21.xml\" target=\"_blank\">introduction<\/a> to the main attraction: the Victoria &amp; Albert Museum\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s new &#8220;<strong>Sixties Fashion<\/strong>&#8221; exhibition, which features Ossie Clark, Celia Birtwell, Mary Quant, Pierre Cardin\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 all the good ones.  It runs from June 6, 2006 to February 25, 2007.
