How do I add or edit content on my brand/magazine’s page on Models.com?

If your magazine or brand is already on Models.com, we can help you get started maintaining and adding content to its MDC page.

First sign up for a Models.com membership at models.com/register. After verifying your email, request upload privileges in our short on-boarding application or reach out to us at support@models.com so we can give you access to add and edit content in the database.

How do I get my magazine a page in the Models.com database?

The creation of magazine pages in the models.com database is done on an invite-only basis depending on the caliber of photographers/artists the magazine works with, how many issues have been released and whether it is print or online.

If you are not yet included in the database but would like to be considered for an official page, please email support@models.com a brief synopsis of the publication, whether it is print or online-only, how many issues have been released and a list of notable photographers and artists involved. We will review your submission and decide whether it is a great fit for the MDC database.

How do I upload a lookbook?

To upload you need to be registered, and your account will need to be approved for uploading (you can request upload privileges in our short on-boarding application after registering).

Please note: When adding a lookbook, the PUBLISH DATE should be set to the month that the lookbook was published, not the season of the clothes. See this entry as an example.

1. Click the upload icon on your account dashboard (the button will only appear if you have upload privileges)

2. Start typing the name of the brand for which the lookbook or catalog is for. If the name of the brand does not appear, you may upload under the client “Various Lookbooks” but you must include the brand’s name in the TITLE field later.

3. Enter the basic information including the publish date (month the images were published), the title (typically, titles use the naming scheme “[Brand Name] [Season]” see other campaigns as examples), change the category to Lookbook/Catalog and add a link to another site where the images can be found (optional).

4. Next, you will be prompted to add crew credits for the shoot. To avoid duplicates being uploaded by other artists or agents, please credit everyone you can, especially the photographer. If the photographer is not in our database, please add their name to the TITLE of the work (ie. “Title by Photographer Name”)

5. Click ADD IMAGES and select one or more files from your computer. Each image must be under 5MB. Click UPLOAD ALL IMAGES.

6. Once uploaded, you can tag specific artists and models in each different picture if needed. You can also click and drag these images to rearrange them to match their original order of publication.

7. Click Submit to Models.com or Publish
