Fashion For Relief

NY Fashion Week is about to get an emphatic punctuation as a line-up of fashion all-stars have converged to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. To that end, Naomi Campbell, Iman and Linda Evangelista are joining Fern Mallis, Executive Director of 7th On Sixth, Anna Wintour Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue, André Leon Talley, Editor-At-Large of American Vogue, and John Demsey, Chairman of the M·A·C Aids Fund, in presenting Fashion for Relief – a special fashion show to close Olympus Fashion Week and raise money for those affected by Hurricane Katrina.

With various designers donating outfits and a wide spectrum of the current crop of models walking, the show will occur tommorow, Friday, September 16, 2005, 9:00 PM at the Main Tent in Bryant Park (6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd).

Tickets for the event will be available to the public for $100 through Tickemaster, or by calling 212-307-7171 or visiting any retailer that sells Ticketmaster tickets. There will also be a limited number of VIP tickets available for $1,000 by contacting NC.Connect at 212-989-0259.

All the funds from the tickets sales for the event being donated to the AmeriCares nonprofit organization.
