New Bag on the Block

In an ever-expanding accessory market, the latest handbag collection that will quickly ascend to cult status like the Botkiers and Balenciagas before it is a line called Elezar. Created by designer, Julie Lazarus and attorney, Ester Barron, two women who combined their creative and business acumen to inspire a line that is as innovative and stylish as it is charming and flirtatious.
Launched this past spring, the six piece collection mixes and matches different skins, leathers and colors with accents from hand-braided straps, whimsical tassels, jeweled pendants, to rivets and hardware in hobo and barrel bags, totes, evening clutches and funky wristlets. The line prices from $195 for a wristlet purse to $528 for a large size hobo style. The bags are already being coveted by the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, Demi Moore and Jessica Simpson. My personal pick is the Boskin hobo in printed suede and lamb trim with braided straps and a flirty tassel hanging in the front from a gold ring.
